The Better Half Sauvignon Blanc is a Marlborough, New Zealand white wine created by George Elworthy as a tribute to his winemaker wife, Jules Taylor. Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes sourced from estate and grower vineyards certified by the Sustainable Winegrowers NZ Scheme, this wine is pale yellow in color with punchy citrus aromas of lime and grapefruit, along with notes of guava and fresh cut grass.

Dry, juicy, and intensely flavored on the palate, it features bright citrus notes and a pop of guava. The finish is long, carried by vibrant, refreshing acidity and a dash of salinity. At 13.5% ABV with a residual sugar of 2.3 g/L, it pairs well with fresh mussels sautéed in white wine and garlic or fresh caught fish with chunky chips and a squeeze of lemon. Best enjoyed young and fresh, though it can be cellared for 1-2 years.
