Shiner Holiday Cheer is a seasonal dark wheat ale (Dunkelweizen) brewed by Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, Texas. This American-style interpretation of a traditional German Dunkelweizen combines rich chocolaty and sweet malt flavors with Texas peaches and roasted pecans. The beer features premium 2-row, wheat, and caramel malts that give it a deep amber color and complex taste profile. Enhanced through Krausening (a secondary fermentation process), this medium-bodied ale delivers a smooth, balanced drinking experience with hints of peach and pecan complementing the caramelized malt backbone.

Available seasonally from November through December, this festive brew has been a holiday tradition since 2010. With 5.4% ABV and 22 IBU, it offers approachable bitterness and a mellow sweetness that makes it highly drinkable throughout the evening. The beer won Bronze at the 2013 Australian International Beer Awards. Pairs excellently with holiday fare including maple glazed ham, fruitcake, and other seasonal dishes.
