Asahi Juroku Cha is a traditional Japanese blended tea, one of the best-selling unsweetened, caffeine-free teas in Japan. This unique beverage is carefully crafted with 16 different grains and botanicals, each individually roasted to create a distinctive nutty, earthy, and toasty flavor profile.
The 16 ingredients include Job's Tears (Adlay), Barley, Habu Tea Leaf, Malted Barley, Corn, Brown Rice, Loquat Leaf, Black Soybean, Malted Brown Rice, Shiitake Mushroom, Jujube, Mulberry Leaf, Black Rice, Foxtail Millet, Japanese Millet (Kibi), and Adzuki Red Beans. Each ingredient is selected based on ancient Eastern health philosophy and traditional Chinese medicine, designed to support overall wellness, digestion, metabolism, and immunity.
The blend is inspired by a 2,000-year-old Chinese tradition of combining multiple grains and botanicals to maintain a healthy and balanced body. The number 16 is based on the Eastern health philosophy of "6 viscera, 6 bowels and 4 tastes" (6+6+4=16), with four tastes—sweet, bitter, salty, and sour—blended in a well-balanced manner.
This pack contains 12 bottles, each 16.9 fl oz (500ml). The tea is completely sugar-free, caffeine-free, unsweetened, and low calorie, making it an ideal hydrating beverage for any time of day. It pairs beautifully with meals and desserts, offering a refreshing alternative to traditional teas. Product of Taiwan.
