Spring Creek Quail Eggs are a nutrient-dense alternative to chicken eggs, packaged in a convenient 36-count container. These small eggs feature cream-colored shells with brown speckles and rich, deep yellow yolks. Despite their small size, three to four quail eggs equal one chicken egg in serving size, yet they contain more fat and protein by weight, double the iron and riboflavin, and about one-third more vitamin B12 than chicken eggs.
These eggs are exceptionally filling despite being only 15 calories each, making them ideal for weight-conscious consumers. They provide high-quality complete protein with all essential amino acids, along with vital nutrients including selenium, choline, vitamin B12, and iron that support energy metabolism, nervous system function, and brain health. The eggs are rich in antioxidants that may help reverse cellular damage and contain choline, a brain nutrient vital for producing acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that sends messages from the nervous system to muscles.
Spring Creek raises their quail humanely on softwood chips with fresh air, never using hormones or antibiotics, ensuring the eggs are completely natural. These versatile eggs can be prepared like chicken eggs but with significantly shorter cooking times: 2-3 minutes for soft-boiled versus 5-6 minutes for chicken eggs, and 1-1.5 minutes for frying versus 3-4 minutes. They're perfect as hard-boiled snacks, in salads, or as a gourmet take on egg salad.
