The formula includes a tackifier to help reduce seed wash-away on slopes and a protectant to help keep seedlings safe from harmful diseases.

This bermudagrass seed grows in scorching heat, dry areas, high-traffic areas, and on slopes. The mulch expands 4X upon watering to help cover the seed and keep it moist. Seed germinates best when daytime temperatures are between 70°F and 90°F with no danger of frost, typically taking 10-30 days. Application is simple: prep the area by removing dead grass and loosening hard soil, evenly apply the seed so bare ground is still visible, and saturate with water until no more water is being absorbed and mulch turns dark brown. Continue to water daily as needed to keep the soil surface moist until seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall.

The fertilizer analysis is 1-0-0, providing nitrogen for initial growth. Recommended for Southern regions where bermudagrass thrives. Spring and early summer are the best times to plant for optimal results.
