Bodegas Sierra Salinas 'Mo' is a 100% Monastrell (also known as Mourvèdre) from the Alicante DO in southeastern Spain, produced from old vine, high elevation vineyards farmed organically and without irrigation. The wine is crafted entirely in stainless steel to preserve the fresh, fruit-driven character of the grape.

In the glass it shows a medium to dark purple color with aromas of fresh red fruits, spices, and freshly baked bread. On the palate it delivers flavors of raspberry, blackberry, and a hint of cranberry with medium-plus body, grippy tannins, and a long, dry finish. Alcohol is 14.5% by volume.

Bodegas Sierra Salinas was founded in 2000 by the Castaño family of Yecla. In 2013, the Miñano and Gómez families of MGWine Group acquired the winery and shifted focus to organic, dry-farmed viticulture, forcing deep root structures that yield naturally balanced fruit. The wine has received scores of 91 points from James Suckling and 90 points from CostcoWineBlog, which noted it "drinks way above its price point."
