Teaninich 1999 17 Year Old is a rare cask-strength single malt Scotch whisky from the Teaninich distillery in the Coastal Highland region of Alness, Ross-shire, Scotland. Part of Diageo's prestigious Special Releases 2017 collection, this whisky was distilled in 1999 and matured for 17 years in refill American oak hogsheads and sherry butts before being bottled at natural cask strength. Only 5,352 bottles were produced worldwide, making it a highly sought-after collector's expression. It is bottled at 55.9% ABV (111.8 proof) with no chill-filtration and no added color.

On the nose, this whisky opens with citrus-fruity aromas of pears in syrup, lychees, mandarins, and lemon sherbet, complemented by honeysuckle and perfumed oak. The palate delivers orchard fruit, floral notes, apple, and lemon, with a richly textured mouthfeel derived from its cask-strength character.
