Beaulieu Vineyard Rutherford Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a benchmark expression of western Rutherford benchland terroir from one of Napa Valley's most storied estates, founded in 1900. This flagship reserve serves as the second wine to the legendary Georges de Latour Private Reserve and is sourced exclusively from vineyards on the western side of the Rutherford appellation.

The captivating bouquet dances with aromas of black cherry, dark plum, and wild violet. On the palate, bright red berry fruits lead into rich blackcurrant, blackberry, graphite, and black licorice, framed by the signature "Rutherford dust" tannins that provide presence, grip, and a mouth-pleasing firmness. A lean backbone of acidity delivers balance, tension, and finesse in a powerful, full-bodied expression with exceptional length and persistence.

Blended from 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot, and 2% Malbec, the wine is aged 22 months in 100% French oak with 80% new barrels, reaching 14.8% alcohol by volume. Grapes are hand-picked, cold-soaked for seven days to develop layered fruit expression, and fermented over 8 to 12 days. Drinkable now and capable of aging beautifully for many years. Contains sulfites.
