Alavida Malbec is Argentina's first USDA-certified organic and kosher wine, produced by Domaine Bousquet in the Uco Valley of Mendoza. This 100% Malbec is made with no sulfites added during production, earning full USDA Organic certification. The wine is also vegan, gluten-free, and Ecocert-approved.

Grapes are sourced from estate vineyards at over 4,000 feet of altitude in the Tupungato region of Alto Gualtallary, where daily temperature swings of up to 60°F produce fruit with exceptional concentration and natural acidity. The high-altitude, cool-climate terroir delivers heightened purity of fruit, aroma, and freshness. The wine does not spend any time in oak and has 1.5 g/L of residual sugar at 14.5% alcohol.

On the nose, it opens with loads of very dark fruit including blackberry and plum, with meaty, slightly funky notes characteristic of no-sulfite-added wines. The palate is smooth with juicy dark fruit, a chewy texture, and a dry finish with good length. This is a serious, dry Malbec that benefits from some air. The name "Alavida" is a Spanish riff on "A la vida!" meaning "To life!", echoing the traditional Hebrew toast "L'chaim!"
