Ron Zacapa Edición Negra is a premium Guatemalan rum made from a blend of rums aged between 6 and 24 years. Inspired by the natural elements of Guatemala, including the dark fire of its volcanoes, Edición Negra is aged in select barrels including double charred American oak casks, creating a rich, dark rum with smoky intensity.

On the nose, it presents caramelized fruits, plums, and raisins with smooth smoky notes. The taste reveals woody, spicy, and smoky notes combined with the balance of chocolate and dried fruit. Ron Zacapa is produced using the Sistema Solera aging process at 7,545 feet above sea level in the highlands of Guatemala, where the cool mountain air allows the rum to develop deeper aromas and rich layers of flavor. The master blender behind Zacapa is Lorena Vásquez, one of the few female master blenders in the world of spirits with over 35 years of experience.
