Charles le Bel "Inspiration 1818" is a non-vintage Brut Champagne produced under the prestigious house of Billecart-Salmon, sourced from the Mareuil-Sur-Ay appellation in Champagne, France. Named in honor of the year Billecart-Salmon was founded, this second label represents exceptional value crafted to the same exacting standards as the flagship range, with all operations including disgorgement carried out at the Billecart-Salmon estate.

The blend is composed of approximately 37% Chardonnay, 33% Pinot Noir, and 30% Pinot Meunier, with an uncommonly high proportion of 70% reserve wines contributing remarkable complexity and consistency. The wine presents a golden-yellow hue with very fine, crystalline bubbles. On the nose, expect aromas of brioche, almonds, butter, white flesh fruits, Mirabelle plums, dried fruits, apple, and pear. The palate is harmonious and mineral-driven, with balanced acidity, notes of citrus fruit, and a long, lingering finish. Alcohol content is 12% ABV.
