Banfi La Pettegola Vermentino is a Toscana IGT white wine crafted from Vermentino grapes grown in the Maremma region of Tuscany, Italy. The vineyards sit in sandstone soils rich in friable rock, lending the wine its hallmark mineral character. After very gentle pressing, fermentation takes place over 13 to 16 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, preserving the grape's natural freshness and aromatic vibrancy.

The wine pours a bright straw yellow and offers an expressive nose of citrus, yellow peach, white flowers, and sage. On the palate it is medium-bodied with a juicy, creamy texture showing lemon curd, vanilla, and marshmallow notes that give way to a more crisp, acidic character as it opens in the glass. Abundant minerality and acidity keep the fruit in balance, culminating in a long, saline finish.

La Pettegola is an ideal aperitif and pairs beautifully with light appetizers, seafood, and fried fish.
