Jack Daniel's Triple Mash Blended Straight Whiskey is a bold, complex expression from the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Part of the brand's Bonded Series, it is a blend of three distinct straight whiskeys, each meeting the rigorous Bottled-in-Bond Act requirements: distilled in a single season, aged a minimum of four years in a government-bonded warehouse, and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV).
The blend combines 60% Jack Daniel's Tennessee Rye (70% rye, 18% corn, 12% malted barley), 20% Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey (80% corn, 12% rye, 8% malted barley), and 20% Jack Daniel's American Malt (100% malted barley). This is notably the first commercial release to feature Jack Daniel's in-house American malt whiskey, which has been distilled at the Lynchburg distillery since 2013.
On the nose, it opens with dark red raspberries, plum, fig, and earl grey tea alongside cedar and pine and a warming winter spice foundation. The palate delivers red raspberry, dark cherry, cola, and marzipan with rich oak and a slightly thick mouthfeel. The finish brings malt forward with rye spice, oak, sweet cinnamon, and vanilla.
This 1-liter bottle is part of a case pack of six and is bottled in the international 1L format.
