Famille Perrin Côtes du Rhône Réserve is a classic French red wine from the Rhône Valley appellation. This well-balanced blend consists of 40% Grenache (mainly from the Grand Prébois vineyard in Orange), 40% Mourvèdre, and 20% Syrah (from Vinsobres). The vineyards feature clayey limestone soils covered with stones at Prébois, while the Vinsobres terraces are rich in quartz and marl limestone.

The wine displays a seductive deep ruby-red color with purple undertones. On the nose, it reveals a powerful aromatic profile harmoniously blending notes of very ripe black fruit, cherries, blueberries, and sweet sticky cherries with subtle spices and a hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is elegant and remarkably balanced, offering fine tannins and superb aromas of small red fruit underlined by delicate peppery notes. This fruity and fleshy wine has beautiful tannins with a textural and velvety finish that lingers with a peppery lift.

After temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged for one year partly in oak barrels and partly in stainless steel vats. This classic Côtes du Rhône pairs wonderfully with beef, lamb, or poultry and is best served at 18°C. It's a great everyday wine that's tasty, loveable, and packed with bright plump fruit character.
