American Wagyu Reserve Boneless Beef Chuck Roast is a premium cut featuring exceptional marbling that sets it apart from standard USDA Choice chuck roast. This beef comes from American Wagyu cattle, a cross between Japanese Wagyu and American Black Angus, producing meat with rich, intense marbling and full, beefy flavor.

The chuck roast cut is ideal for low-and-slow cooking methods including slow cooker pot roasts, braising, smoking, and sous vide preparation. The abundant marbling keeps the meat moist as heat breaks down the connective tissue, resulting in exceptionally tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture. For best results, sear all sides in a hot skillet before slow cooking, and cook for 8 hours on low or 5 hours on high until the meat shreds easily with a fork. The minimum safe internal temperature is 145°F.

This premium cut is sold by the pound and is available at select Costco warehouse locations. American Wagyu offers a more accessible price point compared to imported Japanese A5 Wagyu while delivering superior marbling and flavor compared to conventional beef.
