Villa des Anges Cabernet Sauvignon is a red wine from the Languedoc region of southern France, crafted by celebrated winemaker Jeff Carrel at the Espitalet des Anges domaine in Capestang. The wine is produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in vineyards with a Mediterranean climate and ancient alluvial and clay-limestone soils, lending it a distinctive character rooted in the South of France's rich winemaking heritage.
The wine delivers a style of great freshness, intensity, and concentration. It is well-structured with aromas of black cherries, hints of red pepper, and light, spicy cumin and coriander notes, along with ripe dark fruit and black currant. With an alcohol content of 14%, it offers a medium-bodied profile that makes it an excellent value expression from the Languedoc-Roussillon appellation.
This versatile red pairs beautifully with beef, veal, pasta, red meats, and a wide range of aged cheeses. It is sold in cases of 12 bottles at 750mL each. Contains sulfites.
