Domaine du Cellier aux Moines Givry 1er Cru is a Premier Cru Pinot Noir from the historic Clos du Cellier aux Moines vineyard in Givry, Côte Chalonnaise, Burgundy, France. The domaine traces its origins to a Cistercian monastery founded in the 12th century, and was revived in 2004 when the Pascal family acquired the property, becoming the largest single owner of this storied walled vineyard with 5 hectares under vine.

The estate practices sustainable viticulture, free of pesticides and herbicides since 2016, and is actively converting to biodynamic farming. Grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted, then fermented with native yeasts using partial whole-bunch inclusion in a modern gravity-flow winery designed to minimize intervention and preserve terroir expression.

This wine delivers classic Burgundian Pinot Noir character with aromas of ripe black cherry, a concentrated and fresh palate, firm yet fine tannins, and a long mineral finish. The 2019 vintage earned 94 points from James Suckling, and the wine is widely regarded as one of the finest expressions of the Givry Premier Cru appellation with strong aging potential.
