Kaiken Indómito is a red wine from the Paraje Altamira district of the Uco Valley in Mendoza, Argentina, produced by Kaiken Winery. The wine is a blend of 92% Malbec and 8% Cabernet Franc sourced from high-altitude vineyards nearly 4,000 feet above sea level, where hot days and cool nights preserve exceptional freshness and complexity. The alcohol content is 14.5% by volume, and each bottle contains 750ML.
The wine presents an intense red color with medium depth and vivid purple hues. Aromas of ripe blackberries, blueberries, and elegant floral violets lead to a structured, vibrant palate with fine, ripe tannins and well-balanced acidity. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a smooth, polished impression. A portion of the blend is aged for 10 months in oak barrels, while the remainder is matured in concrete tanks to preserve freshness and fruit character. The wine has received 91 points from James Suckling and 89 points from Wine Spectator.
Kaiken Winery was founded in 2002 by acclaimed Chilean winemaker Aurelio Montes, who crossed the Andes to harness the extraordinary terroir of Mendoza. The winery is located in the district of Vistalba, Luján de Cuyo, and sources fruit from premier growing areas across Mendoza and Salta. Imported by Arano LLC, Boca Raton, Florida. Contains sulphites. Product of Argentina.
