Nittardi Vigna Doghessa is a Chianti Classico DOCG from Fattoria Nittardi, a historic estate in Castellina in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy. The wine is produced from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown on a single southeast-facing vineyard called Vigna Doghessa, situated at approximately 450 meters elevation on schist stone-rich soils that lend the wine its characteristic minerality and freshness.

The estate, once owned by Michelangelo, has a long tradition of collaborating with internationally renowned artists — including Hundertwasser and Yoko Ono — who design a unique custom label for each vintage. All grapes are grown organically.

The wine presents a bright, rich ruby color with aromas of ripe cherry, wild blackberry, red currant, and violet, complemented by hints of clove, cedar, and earthy spice. On the palate it is medium- to full-bodied with well-integrated, fine-grained tannins and a vibrant, fruit-forward finish with notes of liquorice and dark cherry. The 2021 vintage earned 92 points from James Suckling. Best enjoyed now or cellared through the late 2020s; decanting for 30–45 minutes is recommended.
