This exclusive collection brings together three exceptional vintages of Château Mouton Rothschild, one of the world's most celebrated First Growth wines from Pauillac, Bordeaux. Elevated to Premier Cru Classé status in 1973 after a two-decade effort by Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Mouton Rothschild is renowned for extraordinary depth, aging potential, and its iconic tradition of commissioning a renowned artist to design each year's label — a practice begun in 1945. This three-bottle set makes a distinguished gift for collectors and connoisseurs.
The 2006 vintage is a powerful, full-bodied Pauillac showcasing aromas of crème de cassis, licorice, truffles, forest floor, and cedarwood, with exceptional purity that ranked it among the top wines of the vintage. The 2009 is a seductive, opulent blend of approximately 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Merlot, offering lush notes of strawberry, blackberry, roasted coffee, milk chocolate, and vanilla, earning 99+ points from Robert Parker. The 2010 is widely regarded as the Left Bank wine of the vintage and a modern masterpiece — precise, intense, and impeccably structured, drawing comparisons to the legendary 1986 Mouton Rothschild and earning a perfect 100-point score.
The estate covers 205 acres in Pauillac, planted primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon (approximately 77%), Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Each wine is aged in 100% new French oak barrels under winemaker Philippe Dhalluin, whose tenure has produced some of the property's most celebrated bottles.
