Ron Barceló Imperial Premium Blend 40 Aniversario is a limited-edition premium rum from the Dominican Republic, crafted to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Barceló Imperial. It is a special blend of past Imperial reserves, matured in selected cuts of American oak and French oak barrels with varying degrees of toast, then rested in European vats for additional depth and complexity. Only 15,000 cases are produced annually, making it a genuinely rare expression from one of the Caribbean's most celebrated distilleries.

The rum presents a bright coppery brown color with harmonious aromas of crème brûlée, caramelized raisins, dried spices, and dried cherries. On the palate it offers a smooth entry with a semi-dry, fruity body of great depth, developing layered notes of nutty spice characteristic of fine European oak. The finish is long, with lingering hints of pepper leaf and elegant tobacco. It is bottled at 43% ABV.

This expression has earned multiple international accolades, including recognition at The Spirits Business Rum Masters Competition 2024, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (Extra Aged Rum), the International Wine & Spirits Competition (Aged Over 15 Years), and the London Spirits Competition (Aged Rum).
