Laphroaig Càirdeas 2024 "Cask Favourites" is a limited edition 10-year-old Islay single malt Scotch whisky from the legendary Laphroaig distillery on the Isle of Islay, Scotland. Bottled at cask strength of 52.4% ABV, this annual release celebrates the Gaelic spirit of "Càirdeas" — meaning friendship — and is timed each year with the Fèis Ìle festival.

This 2024 edition is a bold fusion of two beloved previous Càirdeas releases: the 2019 Triple Wood and the 2021 PX Cask. The whisky is matured for 10 years in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and quarter casks, then finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for a rich, layered character. The release also marks 30 years of the Friends of Laphroaig loyalty program.

On the nose, expect Brazil nut toffee brittle, sweet vanilla custard, baking spice, milk chocolate-covered raisins, and a hint of spiced orange. The palate is rich, sweet, and oily with notes of smoked orange toffee, stewed peaches, and smouldering campfire, balanced by dried fruit, coffee grounds, and liquorice root. The finish is long, slightly peppery, and peat-rich with a lingering smoky sweetness.
