The Prisoner Wine Company Blindfold Blanc de Noir is a distinctive still white wine made primarily from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from Sonoma County. Born from the dark and provocative world of The Prisoner Wine Company, Blindfold explores light, vibrance, and elegance, crafted to awaken your senses with a heightened sense of sight, taste, and touch.
This Blanc de Noir — meaning "white of black" — is a white wine pressed from red Pinot Noir grapes, resulting in a delicate, lively expression with notes of fresh citrus, white flower, white peach, and a hint of tart cranberry. Small amounts of Viognier and Gewurztraminer are blended in to add fuller texture and a rich mouthfeel. Grapes are hand-harvested and picked early to preserve fruit integrity and avoid high alcohol and saturated sugar flavors. Direct-to-press processing ensures careful extraction and minimal color transfer, yielding a white still wine with only the slightest salmon-colored hue. The wine carries 12.5% ABV.
Pairs beautifully with chilled oysters, whole roasted white fish, crab or lobster, cream-based soups and sauces, sautéed mushrooms, or a crudité platter. Sold as a 12-bottle case of 750ml bottles.
