The Samsung T7 Touch is a portable external solid state drive featuring 2TB of storage capacity with USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity. This compact SSD delivers transfer speeds up to 1,050 MB/s read and 1,000 MB/s write, making it approximately 9.5 times faster than traditional external hard drives and twice as fast as the previous T5 model.

The T7 Touch features a built-in fingerprint scanner for biometric security, combined with password protection and AES 256-bit hardware encryption to safeguard your data. The fingerprint scanner is optional to use, allowing you to unlock the drive with a touch of your finger or a password. The drive includes a Motion LED that indicates device status at a glance.

Constructed with a durable aluminum metal casing, the T7 Touch measures 3.3 x 2.2 x 0.3 inches and weighs just 2 ounces (58 grams). It is shock-resistant, withstanding drops up to 2 meters (6.6 feet), and features advanced thermal control using encapsulated phase change materials to manage heat during sustained transfers. The drive is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Android operating systems. Included accessories are USB Type-C to Type-C and USB Type-C to Type-A cables.
