Oban 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a special release expression from one of Scotland's oldest and smallest distilleries, located in the coastal town of Oban on the western Highlands. Founded in 1794, the Oban distillery produces a distinctly maritime character whisky with remarkable complexity for its age.

This expression undergoes maturation in refill and new American oak casks, followed by a double maturation in ex-Sherry and Amontillado seasoned casks. The result is a whisky with a gentle nose featuring maritime aromas of salt crystal, edible seaweed, and sea air, with faint smokiness and a hint of lemon citrus. The palate is soft and creamy, shining with wine-fruit notes carrying hints of sweet violet and spiced plum, balanced by lively saltiness and a blazing dash of chili pepper. The finish is long and peppery, leaving a smooth memory of chili pepper in the maritime aftertaste.
