Laphroaig 10 Year Old Sherry Oak Finish is a full-bodied single malt Scotch whisky from the iconic Laphroaig distillery on the Isle of Islay, Scotland. This expression takes the classic Laphroaig 10 Year Old and adds a finishing period in European Oloroso sherry oak casks, with each barrel hand selected to layer additional sweetness and complexity onto the distillery's signature character.

On the nose, this whisky presents medicinal notes of peat smoke and Manuka honey alongside strong cloves, leather, iodine, and smoky bacon. The palate is sweet and aromatic with rich waxy notes, followed by toffee, maple syrup, dark chocolate, pine needle, and cedar. The finish is long and memorable, with lingering sweetness, smouldering peat smoke, nuttiness, and a hint of brine. The whisky displays tawny and auburn tones in the glass.

Aged first in ex-Bourbon barrels, the spirit then rests in Oloroso sherry casks to develop its distinctive balance of peaty smoke and sherry-derived sweetness. Bottled at 48% ABV, this expression earned Double Gold at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Gold at the 2021 International Wine & Spirits Competition.
