Château Ormes de Pez is a historic estate in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the northern Médoc, Bordeaux, France. The estate is managed by the Cazes family, also renowned owners of Château Lynch-Bages in Pauillac. Fruit is sourced from approximately 35 hectares of vines averaging over 35 years of age, planted on magnificent gravelly soils with a clay-cool subsoil that provides an exceptional combination of heat retention and moisture control.

This red blend is typically composed of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, aged in French oak barrels with a proportion of new oak to preserve vibrant fruit character while developing the estate's signature structured backbone. The wine delivers aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, damp earth, and tobacco leaf, backed by perfumed cedar, woodsmoke, and the classic Saint-Estèphe gravelly minerality. Full-bodied with firm, integrated tannins and a long, complex finish, it is both enjoyable in youth and highly age-worthy.

Decant for at least 30 to 60 minutes before serving. Pairs best with ribeye steak, rack of lamb, duck confit, mushroom risotto, hearty pasta, and hard aged cheeses. Contains sulphites. Available at Costco in a case of 6 x 750ML bottles.
