Vikre Distillery Sugarbush Whiskey is a craft American whiskey produced in Duluth, Minnesota, distilled from a mash bill of 60% corn, 25% barley, and 15% rye using locally sourced grains from within 50 miles of the distillery. The whiskey is twice-aged, first in ex-port barrels and then finished in maple-syrup-seasoned ex-bourbon casks, yielding tasting notes of roasted cherry, leather, and yellow cake with a light but complex finish. Water for the distillery is drawn from nearby Lake Superior.
