Stags' Leap Limited Edition Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a Napa Valley red wine that celebrates 150 years of the historic Stags' Leap Winery estate. Sourced from select and diverse parcels across Napa Valley with a focus on the cooler southern valley floor, this wine embodies the strength and sophistication that define the winery's house style.

The wine opens with pronounced aromas of ripe blackberry and red cherry, underpinned by floral and savory herbal notes of dried rose petal, potpourri, sage, and mint. Full-bodied with beautiful texture and depth, the palate delivers juicy cassis, blackberry, and red cherry supported by notes of crushed red rose, tea leaf, and chocolate. It finishes smooth and dry with soft tannins and a lingering perfume of cassis, violet, and dark chocolate. Awarded 95 Points by James Suckling.

The grapes underwent fermentation and maceration with daily tasting and monitoring by the winemaking team. After pressing, 54% of the wine aged in new French oak barrels and the remainder in seasoned French oak for 21 months prior to bottling. This combination preserves freshness while allowing the fruit to fully express itself. The wine pairs well alongside a variety of cuisines and is approachable now but benefits from additional cellaring.
