Earth Science Earthworm Castings are a premium organic fertilizer made with 100% vermicompost and never contain fillers of any kind. This natural plant food is full of organic matter that feeds beneficial microbes in your soil, creating an ideal environment for plant growth. The earthworm castings improve soil structure so it can retain more water and nutrients, leading to healthier plants and better growth.

This all-purpose organic fertilizer is excellent for gardens, flower beds, fruits, vegetables, trees, shrubs, and both indoor and outdoor potted plants. For gardens and flower beds, spread a 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick layer directly around plants and water. For potting mix, blend 1 part earthworm castings to 4 parts soil. For potted plants, add 1/8 to 1/4 inch to the top of soil and water. Reapply every 3 months during the growing season for gardens, or every 4-6 months for potted plants. Can also be used to make compost tea by adding 1 pound of castings to 5 gallons of chlorine-free water, or as a lawn top dressing spread 1/4 inch thick.
