Feudi di San Gregorio Cutizzi is a single-vineyard white wine from the Greco di Tufo DOCG appellation in Campania, southern Italy, produced from 100% Greco Bianco grapes. The Cutizzi vineyard sits at elevations of 1,400 to 2,300 feet above sea level in deep, calcareous chalk soil — "tufo" itself means chalk — which imparts the wine's signature stony minerality. The wine is fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures between 61 and 64°F with no malolactic fermentation, then aged 4 to 5 months on the lees in stainless steel, followed by an additional month of bottle aging prior to release.
The wine pours a brilliant yellow with golden reflections. The nose is intense and persistent, with aromas of green plum, Campanian Mast'Antuono pear, and balsamic hints of mint. On the palate, broad and lively acidity frames the spicy, mineral character typical of the Tufo terroir, finishing long with notes of balsamic and mint. Rated 92 points by Wine Enthusiast (2018 vintage) and ranked in the top 7% of wines worldwide on Vivino with over 7,400 ratings. Ideal with raw seafood, lemon-dressed fish, buffalo mozzarella, and white meat dishes. Contains sulfites. 13% alcohol by volume. Sold in cases of six 750ml bottles.
