It operates using either a rechargeable 5000mAh lithium-ion battery pack, producing up to 5000 lumens, or a backup dry cell battery core equipped with 9 AA Duracell batteries, which provides up to 1200 lumens. The rechargeable battery also doubles as a portable power bank with USB-out ports for charging phones and other devices, and recharges via USB-C.

The flashlight features three lighting modes (high, medium, and low) with Smart Memory that remembers your last setting. A twist-to-focus mechanism adjusts the beam from narrow to wide.
