Bosco Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is an easy-drinking Italian red wine sourced from the Abruzzo region in central Italy, crafted from the Montepulciano grape variety under the DOC Montepulciano d'Abruzzo appellation. Produced by Nestore Bosco, this wine has been a recurring Costco staple, consistently offered at an accessible price point that makes it one of the better values in Italian reds at the warehouse.
The wine opens with light aromas of black pepper, floral notes, and a touch of cinnamon. On the palate it delivers medium-plus body with a pleasant mouthfeel, showing flavors of red fruit and ripe cherry throughout. It benefits from about 15 minutes of breathing after opening. The finish is quiet but coats the mouth well, making it a versatile table wine suited to a wide range of foods including pasta, pizza, pork, and grilled meats. Alcohol content is 13%. Each case contains 12 bottles of 750 ML.
