Costco Kirkland Signature Green Chile Cornbread is a large, moist loaf baked fresh in the Costco Bakery. Made with degermed yellow cornmeal and roasted poblano and jalapeño peppers, this cornbread delivers a subtly savory, slightly sweet flavor with a soft, bread-like texture rather than the dry, crumbly consistency of traditional cornbread. The top is finished with a dusting of coarse cornmeal for a rustic look.
The loaf weighs nearly 2 pounds and is sold at room temperature. It pairs well with chili, soups, and stews, and also works as a breakfast or snack bread. The sell-by date is typically about 4 days from purchase, and the loaf freezes well for longer storage.
