This single barrel añejo is rested for 18 months total — first 16 months in brand new, uncharred French Oak Napa Valley Cabernet wine barrels, then finished for 2 months in Spanish Sherry casks. The sherry finish lends a distinctive depth of dried fruits, plums, and honey layered over the wine barrel's influence. Código 1530 is a limited-production release associated with country artist George Strait and is known for its collector-quality presentation.
