Knights Bridge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a single-estate red wine sourced from organically farmed hillside vineyards in Knights Valley, Sonoma County, California. Located on the eastern edge of Sonoma and the northern border of Napa Valley, Knights Valley is the warmest appellation in Sonoma County, providing ideal growing conditions for world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate spans 100+ acres of steep slopes over ancient volcanic soils with sweeping views of Mt. St. Helena and the Mayacamas mountains.
This estate bottling is composed of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Merlot, entirely sourced from the winery's own property. Founded in 2006, Knights Bridge Winery was established with the singular goal of producing world-class wines through sustainable farming methods and small-batch production. Winemaker Douglas Danielak was named Wine Spectator's Winemaker to Watch in 2014.
The wine opens with aromas of dark plum, blueberries, and violets on the nose. Layers of ripe red and dark berries engulf the palate, complemented by hints of brown sugar, white pepper, and savory herbs. It shows structure, vitality, and sharp finesse that will allow it to age gracefully over time.
