Domaine de Courcel Pommard Les Vaumuriens is a prestigious Pinot Noir from the Pommard appellation in Burgundy, France, presented in a 750ml bottle. Domaine de Courcel is one of Burgundy's most storied estates, with the de Courcel family having cultivated their vineyards in Pommard for over 400 years. The Les Vaumuriens vineyard sits on the hillside above the renowned Les Rugiens premier cru, benefiting from excellent terroir in the Côte de Beaune.
This wine is crafted entirely from Pinot Noir and is known for producing bold, structured Burgundy with characteristic depth and aging potential. On the palate, it offers earthy, leathery complexity alongside notes of red fruit, cherry, and raspberry, with oaky undertones of tobacco and clove. The wine carries a tannic structure typical of Pommard, with 13% alcohol by volume.
