Murrieta's Well The Spur is a Bordeaux-style red blend from Livermore Valley, California, produced by Murrieta's Well winery — a property with five generations of wine-growing history located about 40 miles east of San Francisco Bay. Murrieta's Well is owned by the Wente family, one of the most established names in Livermore Valley viticulture.

The Spur is a complex assemblage of 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 22% Petite Sirah, 9% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Malbec. It pours semi-dark with a fruity nose of dried black fruit and perfume. On the palate it is medium-bodied, juicy, and elegant, with flavors of black fruit, vanilla, and hints of dark chocolate, finishing dry with good acidity. Alcohol: 13.5%.
