Barkan Classic Argaman Samson, Israel 750ML

Barkan Classic Argaman is a full-bodied Israeli red wine crafted by Barkan Wine Cellars, Israel's largest winery founded in 1990 and located at Kibbutz Hulda. The wine is made from the Argaman grape, a unique Israeli variety developed in 1972 at the Volcani Center by crossing Souzão and Carignan, and now the sixth-most planted red grape in Israel. This vintage comes from the Samson region in central Israel.

The wine presents a deep, dark purple color with pronounced aromas of fresh wild berries, ripe blackberries, plums, and cherries, complemented by hints of violet, baking spices, and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is medium-to-full bodied with soft tannins and a peppery character, delivering excellent value for a Kosher table wine. Crafted under the supervision of Master of Wine Ido Lewinsohn, it carries OK Kosher certification and is Kosher for Passover and Mevushal, making it suitable for any Kosher setting. Alcohol content is 13%.
