Founded after 30 years of winemaking experience, Dolum Estates crafts limited quantities of elegant Napa Valley reds that are classic and unmistakably place-driven. Fruit is sourced from small, highly regarded sub-districts throughout Napa Valley, including Oakville and the Stags Leap District, surrounding the wine with some of the region's most renowned producers.

Winemaker Chad Alexander brings an exacting philosophy focused on every detail — from soil composition to a proprietary vine-planting structure designed to create "total vine balance." Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, de-stemmed into open-top fermenters, and fermented warm with hand pump-overs before aging in a combination of new and used French oak barrels. The result is a Cabernet Sauvignon of impressive depth, structure, and elegance.

The wine opens with an inviting bouquet of black cherry, cedar, and toasty oak, with dark fruit aromas of plum and wild blackberry. The palate is full-bodied and robust, featuring ripe black cherry and cassis flavors balanced by cedar and mocha notes. Well-integrated tannins provide firmness and longevity, while bright acidity adds energy through the long, satisfying finish with lingering dark berries and spice. Multiple vintages have earned 92–94 point scores from Decanter and James Suckling. ABV approximately 14.5–14.7%.
