Bushmills 30 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey is the pinnacle of the distillery's obsession with oak and pursuit of perfection in Irish single malt whiskey. After being patiently matured in bourbon barrels and sherry butts for 14 years, this whiskey is finished in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for an additional 16 years. Bushmills personally selects the sherry recipe in Spain, and the casks are seasoned with sherry for two years before being filled with the aged whiskey. Bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof), this is a rare and limited expression with only 1,500 bottles produced for the first release.

The whiskey presents an auburn gold color with rich, inviting aromas of raisins, figs, and prunes intertwined with baking spice. The palate is velvety with notes of dates and figs, followed by praline, citrus, and vanilla. The finish lingers seemingly without end, with notes of dried fruit and toffee.

Bushmills holds a license to distill granted by King James I in 1608, making it the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world. This 30 Year expression has earned multiple accolades including Gold at the 2024 International Spirits Challenge and Masters at The Spirits Business Irish Whiskey Masters 2024.
