Ilegal Mezcal Reposado is a premium artisanal mezcal crafted in Oaxaca, Mexico, presented in a 750ml bottle at 40% ABV. Produced by Ilegal Spirits, a Bacardi company, this reposado is made using time-honored traditional methods in which agave hearts are slowly roasted and smoked over mesquite before distillation, yielding the spirit's signature earthy smokiness.

Each lot is aged to taste for 6 months in a combination of new and used American oak barrels with medium char, sourced from Kelvin Cooperage, a family-run business since 1963. This careful aging imparts depth and complexity while preserving the mezcal's natural agave character, resulting in a spirit of remarkable balance.

On the nose, Ilegal Mezcal Reposado presents caramelized pear and bitter orange. The palate delivers clove, butterscotch, and hints of vanilla with a velvety, lingering finish.
