Made from 100% Sangiovese — known locally as Brunello — this wine carries one of Italy's highest appellations and is imported in the United States by Ethica Wines of Stamford, Connecticut. The Ridolfi estate in Montalcino has been recognized by Decanter magazine as a rising star of the appellation.

The 2017 vintage presents a bright ruby red color with an aromatic profile of dark berries, cherries, violet, sweet spices, and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is elegant, rich, and well-balanced, with polished salty tannins and a long finish. Wine Enthusiast awarded it 91 points, describing aromas of scorched earth, leather, and blue flowers alongside a linear palate of dried cherry, orange zest, grilled porcini, and tobacco, with a drinking window of 2024–2029.
