Paola Sordo Barolo is a prestigious DOCG red wine produced in the heart of the Langhe wine region of Piedmont, Italy, situated between the historic municipalities of Castiglione Falletto and Barolo. Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, it represents one of Italy's most celebrated appellations and is often called "the wine of kings." The Sordo estate blends modern winemaking technology with traditional methods, focusing on quality at every stage from harvest to aging.

The wine opens with inviting aromas of strawberries, licorice, and red roses, layered with hints of blue flower, eucalyptus, and sun-baked earth. On the palate, it delivers firm yet well-integrated tannins alongside notes of dried berry, powdered botanical herbs, and dark spice. The finish is long and structured, a hallmark of the Barolo appellation. At 13.5% ABV, it earned a 91-point rating from James Suckling.
