Sans Wine Co Carignan is a naturally made red wine sourced from certified organic, dry-farmed old vine vineyards in the Mendocino AVA of Northern California. The vines, some planted in the 1940s, are farmed without irrigation and produce concentrated, expressive fruit with a strong sense of place.

The grapes are hand harvested and undergo carbonic fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel, with no additions, no fining, and no filtration. The result is a fresh, vibrant wine with aromas of plum, violet, Provençal herbs, and rhubarb, and flavors of juicy raspberries, cranberries, and blueberries with notes of cinnamon and smooth tannins leading to a dry finish. Best served slightly chilled.

Sans Wine Co was founded by husband-and-wife team Jake Stover and Gina Schober. Jake farms and makes the wines while Gina handles sales and distribution. The brand focuses on minimal-intervention, organically farmed wines sold in both bottles and cans.
