Walla Walla Vintners Red Blend is a Bordeaux-inspired wine crafted in Washington's Columbia Valley, one of the Pacific Northwest's premier wine-growing regions. The winery, established in 1995, is known for producing Super Tuscan and Bordeaux-style blends with exceptional quality for the price.

This red blend combines Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec into a complex, layered wine. Each variety is fermented separately in open-top stainless steel vats before blending and aging for 18 months in French oak barrels (25% new wood). The result is an opaque dark purple wine with brilliant ruby hues, offering aromas of huckleberry, black raspberry, blue fruit, black cherry skin, and warming spice. On the palate, soft layers of dark berry liqueur blend with subtle spice and earth, carried through by defined tannins to a smooth finish.

Best served at 60°F in Bordeaux-style stems. Decanting for 15 minutes is recommended. Pairs beautifully with burgers, grilled red meats, and hearty pasta dishes.
