Dewar's 12 Year Old Special Reserve is a premium blended Scotch whisky crafted from thirty single malt and grain whiskies, including aged reserves from Dewar's own Aberfeldy Distillery in Scotland. Each component whisky is aged a minimum of twelve years before undergoing Dewar's signature double-aging process, where the blend is married together and then returned to oak casks for a secondary maturation that produces exceptional smoothness and complexity. The final blend is finished in first-fill bourbon casks and bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).

The nose opens with vanilla, citrus zest, caramel, and orchard fruit. On the palate, it delivers a smooth, layered experience with butterscotch, cereal, honey, and soft baking spice, complemented by a gentle smokiness. The finish is medium-long with lingering oak, honeyed warmth, and peppery spice. This 1.75-liter bottle is ideal for enjoying neat, on the rocks, or in a classic Dewar's Highball.
