Karas Reserve Areni Sireni is a distinguished Armenian red wine blend crafted from 40% Areni and 60% Sireni, two indigenous grape varieties grown in the historic Ararat Valley. This wine showcases the unique terroir of Armenia's volcanic soil, featuring a garnet red color with rich aromas of red fruits, ripe blackberries, velvety plums, and subtle hints of spice and dark chocolate.

The grapes are manually harvested and fermented in karas, Armenia's traditional clay amphora used for over 6,000 years, then aged in Armenian oak barrels. This ancient winemaking technique creates a wine with medium body, velvety tannins, and a bold, fresh, fruit-forward palate. The wine reveals notes of cherry, spice, and dark chocolate with a fruit-expressive finish.

Produced by Karas Wines in the Armavir province, one of Armenia's most high-profile wineries established by Eduardo and Juliana Del Aguila Eurnekian who also operate Bodegas del Fin del Mundo in Argentina. The winemaking is overseen by Argentinian winemaker Gabriel Rogel alongside renowned consultant Michel Rolland. The vineyard follows sustainable and organic practices with approximately 400 hectares of estate vineyards on dry, volcanic soils rich in basalt, limestone, volcanic tuff, and alluvial stones.

This wine has received critical acclaim with ratings of 91/100 from critics and is recognized as one of the top 5 Armenian wines. At 14% alcohol by volume, it pairs beautifully with hearty meats or can be enjoyed on its own.
