Chateau Figeac Saint-Emilion Grand Cru is a prestigious Bordeaux red wine from one of the most historic estates in the Saint-Emilion appellation. Promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classe A in the 2022 classification, Chateau Figeac is among the top-ranked wines of the Right Bank. The estate's 42-hectare vineyard is uniquely planted to 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc, and 30% Merlot, giving it a distinctively structured and elegant character often described as the most Medoc-like wine in Saint-Emilion.

The wine is vinified in a combination of stainless steel tanks and open-top oak vats, allowing for parcel-by-parcel vinification. It is aged in 100% new French oak barrels for 14 to 18 months before bottling. The vineyard sits on rare gravel-dominated soils across three gravel ridges, providing excellent natural drainage and ideal conditions for Cabernet varieties. Average vine age is 45 years, with some vines approaching 100 years old.

Chateau Figeac is best enjoyed with 12 to 15 years of aging and pairs well with classic meat dishes, game, roast chicken, Asian cuisine, and rich fish courses. Best served at 15.5 degrees Celsius. This 750ML bottle format is standard for fine Bordeaux wines.
