Château Calon-Ségur is a prestigious Third Growth (Troisième Grand Cru Classé) estate from the Saint-Estèphe appellation in Bordeaux, France. With records dating back to 1147, it is one of the oldest properties in Saint-Estèphe and the northernmost Classified Growth in the Médoc. The estate is famously recognized by the heart on its label, inspired by the Marquis de Ségur's declaration: "I make my wine at Lafite and Latour, but my heart is in Calon."

The 55-hectare vineyard is planted to 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot, with terroir featuring a blend of gravel, rocks, clay, sand, and limestone. Fermentation takes place in 70 conical-shaped stainless steel tanks, and the wine is aged in 90% to 100% new French oak for up to 20 months. The estate underwent a major renovation completed in 2016 with gravity-fed processes and parcel-by-parcel vinification.

Recent vintages have received outstanding scores, with the 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2020 each earning 98 points. The wine is best served at 15.5°C and pairs well with classic meat dishes, roast chicken, grilled foods, mushrooms, and hard cheeses. In good vintages, it benefits from 10 to 15 years of cellaring with peak maturity between 15 and 50 years.
